The radius of circular trampoline is 6.5 feet

Solution:

Given that circular trampoline has area of 132.2 square feet

To find : Radius of trampoline

Since it is given that circular trampoline, so we can hence use the area of a circle formula

We can use the formula for area of circle and calculate radius

The area of circle is given as:

Area = \pi r^2

Where "r" is the radius of circle and
\pi = 3.14

Substituting the values we get:

132.2 = 3.14 * r^2\\\\r^2 = (132.2)/(3.14)\\\\r^2 = 42.102

Taking square root on both sides we get,

r = √(42.102)\\\\r = 6.49

On rounding to nearest tenth we get 6.5

Thus the radius of circular trampoline is 6.5 feet
