Jason would like his city to provide more public spaces for recreation. He has written letters to the editor of the local paper and appeared before a city commission meeting, but nothing has happened.

What would be the most effective strategy for Jason to get the attention of local officials and why?

The best and effective way to communicate with the local official Is through Email. Form letters, personal visits, telephone calls, telegrams, petitions, faxed letters and personal letters and electronic letters are the ways to communicate to the local officials.

Step-by-step explanation:

Form letters are often considered to be ineffective. Most congressional offices give less importance but they do keep a track of such firm letter. Personal visits is the best but it involves a long process of getting an appointment before and the local official may have only a minute or two to interact which many not be sufficient for the citizen to let out what he has to say. Telephone calls are one of the best ways to communicate with the congress office. But it has to be kept short and crisp.

Telegrams emphasis your concern towards an issue and it should also be kept to the point. Western union offers telegram service through which mails and opinions can be sent. Petition is a proposed document which needs twenty signatures of the people who have common concerns and it is the powerful way to communicate their concern to the government. Faxed letters and Email is an increased and effective means of communicating in the present day scenario. Fastest means to communicate and it is effective too.
