According to Lenz law, there arises an induced EMF in such a way that the magnetic field produced by it opposes the external magnetic field. And there arises an induced current due to this induced emf. Its direction is such that it opposes the change in magnetic flux produced.

Here, in the loop, the magnetic field is out of plane and is increasing, so the current should be induced in such a way that the magnetic field produced must be nullifying the prior one and which should be into the plane of paper.

∴ Using the thumb rule, the direction of current should be in clockwise direcrton.
