A scientist needs 120Ml of a 20% acid solution for an experiment. The lab has available a 10% solution and a 25% solution. How many millimeters of the 10% solution and how many millimeters of the 25% solution should the scientist mix to make the 20% solution?

Answer:

40ml of 10% and 80ml of 25%

Explanation:

10x+25(120-x)=2400

-15x+3000=2400

15x=600

x=40
