4x - y = 18
-8x – 2y = 4

Point Form: (2,-10)
Equation Form: x = 2, y = -10

[first, multiply the first equation by 2]
[8x - 2y = 36]
[now combine the like terms from each equation. For example, -8x + 8x = 0]
[-4y = 40]
[y = -10]
[x = 2]
(2, -10)
