Focus of NYA was on providing jobs and education to American youth between the age of 16 and 25.

Step-by-step explanation:

National Youth Administration was formed in the year 1935. The Great Depression made the US economy worse and unemployment rose by 30%. NYA was formed on this background.

The agency was sponsored by the then president Franklin D Roosevelt. NYA conducted several out-of –school programs for youth and included young girls unlike several other groups. The annual budget of NYA was approximately $580 million.

The agency was discontinued in 1943.
