The type of graph you can use to compare the number of books at each price is Histogram and a box and whisker plot.

Explanation:

A histogram is another good example for providing a good general view of the data. I choose histogram instead of a bar chart because the data is not categorical, but continuous and quantitative.

The second option of my choice is A box and whisker pot, because it is useful for comparing these 2 sets of data, spread and outliers, also can easily compare the quartile values and get a overall view of comparison for a sets of data.
