Joe has a cat that is homozygous for black fur and a cat homozygous for white fur. What would be the genotype(s) of their offspring? B = black b = white

Answer: Bb
Explanation: If you use a punnet square, the genotype for both cats are homozygous but two different genes (black and white fur) so if you cross them. All of the offspring will have Bb genotypes.
