1. Angles 1 and 75° are the same side angles when two parallel lines a and b are cut by transversal t.

The same side angles add up to 180°, so

m∠1 + 75° = 180°

m∠1 = 180° - 75°

m∠1 = 105

2. Angles 2 and 1 are supplementary (add up to 180°), then

m∠1 + m∠2 = 180°

m∠2 = 180° - 105°

m∠2 = 75°
