Answer:

Amar Singh Thapa was Gorhkali military general, governor of the kingdom of Nepal and overall commander of Nepal Army. He led many military campaigns to annex the areas of Kumaon and Garhwal before the second Sino-Nepalese war. He not only extended the boundaries of Nepal up to the river Sutlej but also took important administrative reform to fund the Nepalese army. He ended the rent-free land grants and a system regular collection of revenue was enforced. He is also known for his contribution to the many religious sites. To honor his contribution to the unification of Nepal he holds the title of Bada Kaji.
