European/Spanish culture was 100% Christian, so (as Portuguese and Gilberto Freyre justified Portuguese colonization) all these conquests were "Christo-centric" and not (primarily) ethnocentric ! I am not sure about 100% successful "blending together".....biologically there is a blend but does it also exist on other levels ? Psychological for example ?
