Explanation:

If ABD = 108, that is the entire picture.

CBD is the part that is bisected. Bisector line BE cuts the angle in half.

Since CBD is 66, half of it is what is pictured on both sides of line BE.

Half of 66 is 33.

Angles EBE and EBD are both 33.

Angle ABE is ABC + CBE.

Angle ABE is also ABD - EBD.

ABE = ABD - EBD

ABE = 108 - 33

ABE = 75
