Answer:

5 Zebras

Explanation:

In the zoo, the ratio of Giraffes to Apes is 6 : 5

So, for 1 Ape there are
(6)/(5) Giraffes in the zoo.

Again, the ratio of Apes to Zebras in the zoo is 4 : 1.

So, for 1 Ape there are
(1)/(4) Zebras in the zoo.

Hence, the ratio of Giraffes to Apes to Zebras in the zoo is
(6)/(5) : 1 : (1)/(4)

Since, there are animals in whole number but not in fraction in the zoo, so the ratio in whole numbers is

(6)/(5) * 20 : 1 * 20 : (1)/(4) * 20

= 24 : 20 : 5

which is the most simplified whole number ratio of number of Giraffes, Apes and Zebras.

Therefore, there will be a minimum of 5 Zebras in the zoo. (Answer)
