Slope = 0.1

Explanation:

The slope measures "RISE" over "RUN".

The "rise" is the change happening in the y-direction (or vertical direction)

The "run" is the change happening in the x-direction (or horizontal direction)

We divide "rise" by "run" to get the value of slope.

Here, the rise (vertical) is 0.5 feet

Also, the run (horizontal) is 5 feet

Thus,

Slope = Rise/Run =
(0.5)/(5)=0.1

So,

Slope = 0.1
