12^(-x) = 5 (taking log on both sides)

log [ 12^(-x)] = log 5

-x log 12 = log 5

-x = log 5 / log 12

x = - (log 5/log12)

x = -0.6477

12^(2x)

= 12^[2(-0.6477)]

= 12 ^ (-1.295)

= 0.04
