Answer:

A case in Topeka Kansas in 1954 where the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the racial segregation of children at public schools is unconstitutional. This case had a huge impact on society as it was the first time where kids of all races begun to go to school together, white students begun to have classes with children of color. It was a very controversial case as it occurred in the south which at the time had a very present racial line drawn. This case lead to the Civil Rights Movement as well as the iconic stories such as Ruby Bridges in 1960
