(a³ - b³) = (a - b)(a - b)² = (a - b)(a² + b² + 2ab)

x³ - 1 = (x - 1)(x² - 2x + 1)

Answer:

(x-1)(x^2+x+1)

Explanation:

Since both of the terms are perfect cubes, factor using the difference of cubes formula which is [a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2) where a=x and b=1. Hope this helps.
