Every state chose to follow the colonial traditions but they modified the traditions. After modification, the executives i.e., the Governor lost all of its significant power and the legislative branch i.e., the Assemblies which represents the people directly got all powers and became much more powerful. Along with this, the three states created rules based on popular rule that organized the republican governments.

  • Pennsylvania Constitution of 1776 created rules which was issue for the holding office as well as for voting by demolishing the Property Rights.
  • South Carolina’s State Constitution of 1778 created rules where to run for a political office and to vote, all white men has to own more than one property.
  • Massachusetts State Constitution of 1780 created rules where only the elected representatives were allowed to run the government by deciding the best framework.
