Show that 2x - 3y + 4 = 0 and y = –2/3x + 4/3
do not represent the same line.

Take 2x - 3y + 4 = 0 and solve for y and you’ll get y = 2/3x + 4/3 thus these two lines are not the same because the slopes are not the same although the y intercept point 4/3 (y =mx + b... “b” being the y intercept) is the same for both equations....you could also add when graphed the first line would be heading upwards from left to right (positive slope) while the other would be heading downwards from left to right (negative slope)
