How do you change --2y=x+5 into slope formula​

Answer: y = (-1/2)x - (5/2)

Explanation:

-2y = x + 5

Divide both sides by -2

therefore, y = -(1/2)x - (5/2)

(since there was technically already a 1 in front of the x.
