Answer:

This cartoon from 1933 represents FDR's promise to A- End the era of prohibition.

Step-by-step explanation:

President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the act to end the era of prohibition in 1933 to levy tax on all the alcoholic beverages in order to raise funds for the government and it also gave the different states their option to regulate the distribution and sale of beer as well as wine.

Earlier, the laws prohibited the sale and distribution of liquor which went on during the era of prohibition, which defined an alcoholic beverage as anything with 0.5% of alcohol.

Although, the prohibition act proved more difficult as it resulted in illegal sell of alcohol and increased corruption without lowering consumption. Roosevelt realised alcohol could generate great revenues for the government and during the great depression and came forth with the beer and wine revenue act.
