Answer:

The total distance traveled by spaceship in all is 5 / 6 of a Light Year

Explanation:

Here, the distance traveled by spaceship in first go = 3/ 4 Light Year

The distance traveled after stopping at space station = 1/ 12 Light Year

Now, the Total distance traveled by Spaceship = Sum of all distances traveled by spaceship

=
((3)/(4) ) + ((1)/(12) )

=
(3(3) + 1)/(12)  = (9 + 1)/(12)  = (10)/(12)  = (5)/(6) \\\implies ((3)/(4) ) + ((1)/(12) ) = (5)/(6)

or, 3/ 4 Light Year + 1/ 12 Light Year = 5 / 6 of a Light Year

Hence, the total distance traveled by spaceship in all is 5 / 6 of a Light Year
