Answer:

First five terms are (5, 7, 9, 11, 13)

Explanation:

a_n = 5+(n-1)2

Arithmetic explicit rule is given we need to find first five terms.

Let n be number of terms.

When n = 1,

a_1= 5+(1-1)2= 5+(0)2=5

When n = 2,

a_2=5+(2-1)2=5+2=7

When n = 3,

a_3=5+(3-1)2=5+4=9

When n = 4,

a_4=5+(4-1)2=5+6=11

When n = 5,

a_5=5+(5-1)2=5+9=13

Hence the First five terms are (5, 7, 9, 11, 13)
