I need reassurance on some questions--thanks.

1. Would you use il y a or pendant in the sentence: "On s'est parlé pour la première fois____trois mois."? I think you should use il y a because the sentence is saying they spoke for the first time three months ago not they spoke for three months.

2. Would you use depuis, il y a, or pendant in the sentance: "Mon film préféré est sorti____5 ans."? I know you shouldnt use pendant because a movie doesnt stay out for 5 years.

3. Would you use depuis, il y a, or pendant in the sentance: "Après s'être cassé le bras, il n'a pas pu jouer____six mois."? I know you wouldnt use il y a. Pendant sounds most plausible.
