Please help me!!! I dont understand Physics at all!

A small two passenger airplane taxing to the runway at 4 m/s has a takeoff speed of almost 30 m/s or more than 65 mi/hr. Determine the minimum length of the runway for the plane to reach that speed if it only takes 15 seconds to reach that speed. Show your work.

Answer:255
m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let
s be the distance of runway.

Let
u be the initial velocity of aeroplane.

Let
v be the initial velocity of aeroplane.

Let
t be the time taken by Susan.

Given,

u=4ms^(-1)

v=30ms^(-1)\\t=15sec

From the given information we can assume that no additional forces are acting.So,the acceleration is constant.

The length of runway will be minimum if the aeroplane takes off in
15 seconds.

As we know from the equations of motion,

s=(u+v)/(2)* t

So,
s=((4+30))/(2)* 15=255m

So,the minimum length of the runway required is
255m
