Explanation:

multiply second equation by -3

-3 × (4x + 3y) = -12 ➡ -12x - 9y = 36 now add this to second equation

12x + 9y -12x -9y = -36 + 36 ➡0 = 0

we say there's infinite solutions because whatever value you write for x and/or y there will be a solution.
