60% of the total people surveyed were satisfied with the car.

Explanation:

The total number of people surveyed = 2,600

Number of people who owned a certain type of car

said they would buy it again = 1,560

or, the total number of people who were satisfied with that car = 1,560

Now,
\textrm{Percentage of satisfied customers}  = \frac{\textrm{Total number of satisfied customer}}{\textrm{Total surveyed customer}}  * 100

=
(2,600)/(1,560)  * 100 = 60

or, the percentage of satisfied customer = 60%

Hence, 60% of the people surveyed were satisfied with the car.
