Kinetic Energy, Potential Energy and a Heating Curve. Since Temperature is a measure of "Average Kinetic Energy", any change in temperature is a change in Kinetic Energy. Since temperature does not change during a phase change, the energy that is gained or lost is Potential Energy.

Answer:

  • Option: ( A )-

Moving from A to C the temperature and the kinetic energy increases.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Heat and energy curve:

"The graph which show or represents the changes in the two properties heat and energy(the ability to work) is called as heat and energy curve."

  • Heat?

"Heat is is the quality of any body to be either at a very higher temperature,T₁ or lower temperature,T₂."

  • Energy:

"Energy is the capacity of any object or body to perform any work or do any task given to it so it move from point A to B."

  • Heat curve and energy graph:

The heat curve and energy graph, represents the change in the two variables as the heat level changes, from point T₁ to T₂.When ever there is energy been supplied to the system. As the heat has the direct contribution to increase the total energy of the system,

  • As,Total energy= K.E+P.E,
