Miguel decided to buy a cell phone for $150. It is currently on sale for 10% off. When he got to the counter, he got an additional 10% off. What is the final cost for the cell phone?

Now, sale percentage on the marked price = 10%

Now, 10 % of 150 =
(10)/(100)  * 150 = 15

The sale discount on the marked price = $15

So, the selling price of cellphone = Marked Price - Sale discount

= $150 - $15 = $135

Now, the second discount offered on $135 is 10%

10 % of 130 =
(10)/(100)  * 130 = 13.5

The additional sale discount on the selling price = $13.5
