The Cost Price of ski trip = $24

The sales Tax = 4.7%

Now, 4.7% of the cost price $24 =
(4.7)/(100)  * 24 = 1.128

⇒ The sales tax on the ski = $1.128

SALES PRICE = COST PRICE + SALES TAX

= $24 + $1.128

= $25. 128

or, sales price = $25. 128

Hence, the sales price of the ski poles is $25. 128 .
