A storage container is a cylinder with a height of 28.2 cm and a radius of 5 cm. How many liters of water will the storage container hold if 1 liter = 1000 cm^3

The formula for calculating the volume of the cylinder is;

V=πr²h

where;

V=volume of the cylinder

π=pi

r=radius of the cylinder

h=height of the cylinder

In our case;

V=unknown

π=22/7

r=5 cm

h=28.2 cm

replacing;

V=π×5²×28.2=2,215.714 cm³

Volume of the cylinder=2,215.714 cm³

If 1 liter=1,000 cm³

Then the storage of the cylinder in liters=2,215.714/1000=2.216 liters
