One of the example of non-specific chemical barrier to infection is enzyme lysozymes that are present in saliva and tears. Lysozymes acts on peptidoglycan cell wall of gram-positive bacteria and provide non-specific defense against these gram-positive bacteria.

Other examples of non- specific chemical defense are hydrochloric acid in stomach, spermin in semen, etc. So lysozymes in saliva and tears are examples of nonspecific chemical defense.
