Recall the slope equation
(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

We're given 4 different coordinate points, but we only have to use 2.

Let's use (-6, 8) and (-2, 5), since they're the first two points in the graph.

Use
(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1):

(5 - 8)/(-2 - (-6))

(-3)/(-2 + 6)

(-3)/(4)

The slope of the line is -
(3)/(4)

Good luck! If you need me to explain any of this process in more detail, just ask :))
