Answer: y = 3x - 19

Explanation:

The equation of line in the slope intercept form is give as :

y = mx + c , where m is the slope and c is the y - intercept.

The points given : ( 4 , -7 )

slope = 3

Using the formula

y -
y_(1) = m (x -
x_(1) )

substituting the given values , we have

y - (-7) = 3 ( x - 4 )

y +7 = 3x - 12

y = 3x -12 - 7

y = 3x - 19

This gives the equation of the line in slope - intercept form.
