given,

Since,the given line and the new line are perpendicular,


m_(1)m_(2)=-1

So,
m_(2)=-2

The x-intercept of the given line is
(-3,0)

The equation of the line passing through
(x_(1),y_(1)) and slope
m is
y-y_(1)=m(x-x_(1))

So,the line is
