Answer:

Each pair of sneakers did cost $ 33.25

Explanation:

Given as :

The amount paid by Meryl for two pairs of sneakers = $ 68.82

The sales tax = $ 5.32

So, The price of two pairs without sales tax = $ 68.82 - $ 5.32 = $ 63.5

The amount of coupon which Meryl applied = $ 3.00

So, The price of two pair of sneakers without coupon = $ 63.5 + $ 3.00 = $ 66.5

∵ The price of two pair of sneakers = $ 66.5

∴ The price of one pair of sneakers = $
(66.5)/(2)

I.e The price of one pair of sneakers = $ 33.25

Hence each pair of sneakers did cost $ 33.25 , Answer
