If a pumpkin weighs 50 pounds and you cut 25% of the pumpkin and took out all the pulp which is 30% of it's weight how much does it weigh now?

As 25

=
`(25)/(100) * 50 = 12.5 \textrm pounds`

∴

`12.5 \textrm pounds` is now reduced.

As now total pulp been took out, which is 30
`\%` of it´s weight

=
`(30)/(100) * 50 = 15 \textrm pound`.

∴
`W_2` is now reduced
`15 \textrm`

Now, taking out the weight of pumpkin after pumpkin been cut and pulp been taken out.

Pumpkin weight=
`50 -(W_1 + W_2)`
`= 50 -(12.5 + 15)`

Pumpkin weight =
`50- 27.5 = 22.5\txetrm pounds`

∴ Now the pumpkin weight is
