Primary motor cortex motor pathway inhibits inappropriate movements.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is a part of brain that controls the planning and execution of voluntary movements. It is present in the frontal lobe. It works by generating nerve impulses that controls various movement. If at any case a part of motor cortex gets damaged, it may affect the movement of body parts.

This happens if in case a person suffers from stroke. Which results in progressive regeneration and muscle damage to some patients, results in failure in the movement in any way.
