a ferris wheel can accommodate 54 people in 24 minutes. melaine ran the 2-kilometer race in 17 minutes. how many people could ride the ferris wheel in 2 hours? what was that rate per hour?

I’m not really good at maths and I apologize for that but, here’s what I would do. Find out how many minutes are in 2 hours. (180) which is 24 x 7.5.
Then multiply 54 by 7.5. Which equals 405. So it would be 408/180 or you could reduce it to 51/45. But again this might be wrong.
