Answer:

34y-14

Explanation:

A rectangle has 4 sides.

The perimeter is the sum of all 4 sides.

We have 2 lengths and 2 widths.

Since 10y + 2 is length & 7y - 9 is width, the perimeter will be:

Perimeter =
Length + Length + Width + Width = 10y+2+10y+2+7y-9+7y-9

We combine the like terms (y terms) and the numbers and simplify the expression to be:

Perimeter =
10y+2+10y+2+7y-9+7y-9=34y-14

The perimter = 34y - 14
