One ticket to a hockey game is $9.00. A season ticket for one person to attend all six home games is $50.00. How much money would a family of four save if they bought four season tickets?

Answer:

They would actually save more money by buying 6 separate home tickets for each person than to buy 4 season passes.

Explanation:

1. $50x4 people= $200 for the season passes

2. $9x6 home games= $54

3. $54x 4 people= $216 if they buy separate tickets per home game

They would save $16 buying 4 season passes

Answer:

The family of 4 would save $16

Explanation:

First thing i did was multiply 9 by 6 so then you know how much it cost to go to all the games buying normal tickets. Which is 54. Multiply 54 by 4 to see how much it cost for a family of 4 to buy the tickets like that, which is 216. Next thing you want to do is find out how much it cost to buy the 4 season tickets so you do 50 times 4 which equals 200. After all that is done you do 216-200 to get your answer.
