Answer:

The difference is 36

Explanation:

On Monday where there was 32 comic books sold,

you would then go 32/8=4 then times four by three to get that you sold 12 action figures

Then on Tuesday where there was 18 action figures sold

you would go 18/3=6 then times eight by six to get that you sold 48 comic books

So 48-12=36

1. Calculate the number of action figures sold on Monday:

8 comic books for every 3 action figures

32 comic books = ? action figures

8 x 4 = 32

so 3 x 4 = 12 action figures sold on Monday

2. Find the difference between the number of action figures sold on Monday and Tuesday

They're asking for the difference, so you subtract

18 - 12 = 6

Hence, the difference in the number of books on Monday and Tuesday is 6
