There are many ways to play dice, but the version played at casinos is played by rolling 2 dice. If you rolla sum of 7 or 11, you winIf you roll any other sum, you lose. What is the theoretical probability of winning the dice game?

Also if I listed all the possible combinations (ex: 3-4 3-5) would I get the right answer? Please help!

Explanation:

Each die has 6 numbers, so the total number of possible combinations is 6Ă—6 = 36.

The combinations that add up to 7 or 11 are:

1 and 6

2 and 5

3 and 4

4 and 3

5 and 2

6 and 1

5 and 6

6 and 5

That's a total of 8. So the probability of winning is 8/36 = 2/9 = 22.2%.
