to find area you multiply your side lengths with the formula

W×L=A

with this information we can plug in our numbers

3/8×4/6

First we have to give them common denominators 8*3=24 and 6*4=24 so we will multiply both our numerators by these numbers as well

9/24*16/24

now we solve

144/625

then we simplify

1/4
