Coretta has a cookie recipe that requires 2cups of flour and 1 1/12 cup sugar. She has 3 1/2 cup sugar and she wants to use it all making cookies how many cups of flour will corretta need to make

Given that for

(13)/(12) cup of sugar coretta recquire's 2 cups of flour

Now she has
3(1)/(2)=(7)/(2) cups of sugar

13/12 cups of sugar recquire 2 cups of flour

7/2 cups of sugar recquire x cups of flour

on cross multiplication we get


(13x)/(12) =(2* 7)/(2)


x=(84)/(13)


x= 6(6)/(13) cups of flour
