∵ 'p' is the centroid then 'U' , 'V' and 'W' are the mid point of side 'YZ' , 'XZ' and 'XY'.

From Centroid Theorem we can write;


XP=(2)/(3) * XU

Plug the values 'XU' in above equation;


XP=(2)/(3) *57


XP=2* 19


XP=38

From figure;


XP+PU=XU


PU=XU-XP

Plug 'XU' and 'XP' values;


PU=57-38


PU=19

∴ The value of 'PU' is
