Answer:

A

Explanation:

Total 3 + 2 = 5 marbles

A. Green and then again green

P(G) = 2/5

P(G again) = 1/4 [since without replacement and 1 green and 1 total is less]

So,

P(GG) = 2/5 * 1/4 = 1/10

B. Blue and then blue again

P(B) = 3/5

P(B again) = 2/4

P(BB) = 3/5 * 2/4 = 3/10

C. Green then Blue

P(G) = 2/5

P(B after green has been taken) = 3/4 [since 3 blue remaining but 1 total taken out]

P(GB) = 2/5 * 3/4 = 3/10

D. Blue then Green

P(B) = 3/5

P(G after blue taken out) = 2/4 (since 2 green remaining but 1 from total taken out)

P(BG) = 3/5 * 2/4 = 3/10

So we see Answer Choice B, C, & D are same, so A is different.
