Herbie has been asked to create a poster on subtraction of integers. His theme problem is 12 -20-(-5) Write a word problem for Herbie to go with the theme problem. Then illustrate or explain how to solve the theme problem

The answer is -13, say Herbie has 12 papers, then he losses 20 of them. At that point herbie has -8 papers, but then he loses 5 more papers. Equaling -13. It doesn’t quite make sense, but it works.
