35a. We're asked to compute the ratio between the enlarged width and the original width. So we literally perform the operation:

6.5/ 3.5 \approx 1.86

35b. If the order is wrong the image would be shrunk instead of enlarged, with a ratio of
3.5/ 6.5

36. We know that

(p)/(q)=(2)/(3)

Observe that

(6p)/(2q)=(6)/(2)\cdot(p)/(q)=3\cdot(p)/(q)=3\cdot(3)/(2)=(9)/(2)
