Answer:

(D) 5

The given values start at the point -4 and move to the right on the number line. Since their progressively getting larger, this is a positive increase.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Range of data-set -4, -3, -1, -1, 0, 1 is 5.

Explanation:

Need to determine range of following data set

-4, -3, -1, -1, 0, 1

Step 1: To determine range of a data set is to arrange given data set in ascending order

In our case data set is already arranged in ascending order.

-4, -3, -1, -1, 0, 1

Step 2: Find the range of the data set.

Range of data set= Greatest number – Smallest number.

On given data set smallest number = -4

greatest number = 1

So range of data set = greatest number – smallest number

=> 1 – (-4) = 1 + 4 = 5

Hence range of data-set -4, -3, -1, -1, 0, 1 is 5.
